Agfa APX 100 Expired
The classic Agfa black and white. Fine grain, honest tones, the old European workhorse. This roll is expired medium format.
How it behaves
Discontinued long ago, so shoot it as an experiment. Black and white ages better than color, so it may still come back close to normal. Overexpose slightly to be safe; about one stop per decade past expiry is the usual starting point. It is a traditional cubic-grain panchromatic film known for extremely fine grain, high sharpness, and a wide tonal range. As expired stock, results depend on age and storage. It responds well to zone-system development changes and works in standard B&W developers.
