Frame 1 of 9
Fujifilm Neopan
Fuji’s 400-speed black and white in medium format. A fast film with Fuji’s smooth tonal character. It suits handheld medium format when the light drops.
How it behaves
Develop it normally and expect clean, modern grain. It is fine-grained for its speed, with lovely midtones and crisp contrast. It takes pushing well. The manufacturer rated it pushable to EI 1600. Only expired stock remains, so overexpose roughly one stop per decade past expiry as a starting point. In Japan it was sold as Neopan Presto 400.
