Yes Supreme 400
The 400 speed version of Yes Supreme, equally undocumented. A mystery roll for lower light and everyday shooting.
How it behaves
A boutique color negative from the Yes!Star line. Shoot at 400 and bracket. The Yes!Star Supreme 400 name is listed on Lomography’s film index with sample photos posted, but the verified facts stop at the speed and the 35mm format. The base emulsion and color balance are not disclosed. Same rule as all obscure stocks: learn it before you need it. This roll split its time between Santa portraits at Christmas Village and the Ogden cemetery under the Wasatch.
Questions people ask
Is Yes Supreme 400 good for low light?
It is a 400 speed film, so it handles lower light than its 200 sibling, and the notes pitch it as a mystery roll for low light. Bracket the first roll, since nothing about the emulsion is published.
Yes Supreme 200 or 400?
The 200 for good light and daylight. The 400 for everyday carry, travel, and street and casual shooting in mixed light.
